Village Scenery
We got up before dawn and headed towards the hamlet of our ancestors...
As I already covered in my previous posts that Mambakkam is the village near Madurantakkam on the Indian National Highway.
New born calf is a week old. We had this as one of the reasons to visit Mambakkam apart from visiting Erri Katha Ramar Koil.
We grow paddy in our village. India's major crop is Paddy and is grown in abundant in South India.
The people in Mambakkam Village are vey generous, one of the villagers had plucked and brought coconuts for all of us to drink its water. The whole evening we spent there and returned back to Chennai by dawn. These kids are playing Gully Cricket and the future of India. There are few folks enjoying the day under the tree.
