Sri Kanchi Kamakoti Sankaracharya Blessings

This is a nostalgic memory of my dad (appa in tamil or father) who narated me as what happened a 45 years ago in Madhurantakam where my ansisters used to live.

One fine day when Sri Sri Kanchi Kamakoti Sankaracharya was travelling on a Pallaki (a cart led the procession by a few men) from Kanchipuram, also known as Kanchi, or Kancheepuram in Tamilnadu to Pondicherry and had to stay for a night in the middle of the way at Madhurantakam, wherein people gave him all respects he deserved.

Next morning, he had to continue his journey to pondicherry while he started on his Pallaki, my dad gave helping had to the Pallaki men, and apparantly Sri Sri Sankaracharya can see my dad who is next to him and had a conversation.

Sri Sri Kanchi Kamakoti Sankaracharya asked my dad as who he is. My dad replied that he is Vankipuram Balaji and he is a grandson (My great-grand-father who was also next to my dad) of Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Chary.

Then replied Sri Sri "God bless you and your family". Then he gave an Apple to my father. My dad reminds it as a sacred Apple in his life. Great!!!
