BhadraChala Rama Painting
Bhadrachalam is located in Khammam District, Andhra Pradesh at a distance of over 309 km slightly northeast of Hyderabad. This temple is situated on the bank of the river Godavari (southern Ganges). This place on earth is famous for shrine, Lord Rama and one of the most popularly known and visited temples for Hindus.
I have spent around 28 hours during January 2008, painting this piece of remarkable BhadraChala Rama with Seetha, Lakshmana and Hanuman that is the main deity of Seetha Rama Temple in Badrachalam of Kammam District in Andhra Pradesh wherein you can also know about the mythology of the lord Rama at Parnasala 35 Kms away.
It is a new experience for me because neither I used the brushes (medium) before nor this technique of sticking paper on cloth, before.
Normally, my medium used to be pencils and sketches.
My younger cousins Bharath and Rahul liked my painting very much and took a snap with it.
