Sudha Raghunathan

In South-Indian tradition, weddings are followed by a reception. Recently, a similar but hi-fi wedding and reception of my relatives in Chennai's most famous function hall known as Raja Muthayya Hall in Nungambakkam area.

This wedding reception had a feather on its cap with the performance of a popular Classical Singer - Sudha Raghunathan. We had a great pleasure watching her performance with a great ambiance.

Relatives were curiously meeting and greeting Sudha Raghunathan for her unique performance.

In South-India this usually happens that there will these celebraties, relatives far and near ones among others attending the wedding and reception occasions with a nice treat having varities of food dishes.

I met Arun one of my cousins in the reception had a nice time with him. This wedding reception is one of the best ones that I had attended in the recent past.

Ramana Maharshi

It was an enchanting trip to Arunachaleshwarar Temple in Annamalai. This image shows the distance to the place on the highway NH 66.

This pic was one among many others that were taken during the journey towards the temple.

Also we visited Ramana Maharshi Ashram nearby the temple which was well maintained.
This is Ramana Maharshi's Last Photo. Also there are some vedios here which tells us about his life and himself below:

Temple authorities are maintaining the temple very well in Annamalai Hills and this is one of the oldest Hindu temples in the Indian History. The unique sanctity of Arunachala, Ramana Maharshi explained that other holy places such as Kailas, Kasi and Chidambaram are sacred because they are the abodes of Lord Siva whereas Arunachala is Lord Siva himself.

While on the way and around the Annamalai mountain there are many soft round stones
and as per source: Arunachala Puranam it is said that "All stones in that place [Arunachala] are lingams (it is indeed the abode of Lord Siva). All trees are the wish-granting trees of Indra's heaven. Its rippling waters are the Ganges, flowing through our Lord's matted locks. The food eaten there is the ambrosia of the Gods. When men move about in that place it is the earth performing pradakshina around it. Words spoken there are holy scripture, and to fall asleep there is to be absorbed in samadhi, beyond the mind's delusion. Could there be any other place which is its equal".

My Backyard Story

Backyard TaleThis is the picture taken today on the backyard of my house. It is pleasent day each day looking into this greenary and a classic stairs of my neighbours.

I find a unique wildlife around my house in Chennai where I stay. I feel fortunate to stay at such a place. Thanks to the broker who had shown us this residential apartment in West Mambalam Chennai.

Further more, there social animals areound us such as Dogs, cats, birds, insects and mosquitos among others. Also we hear sounds of birds which sing songs in their own way. I love hearing to Koyals and Parrots.

In addition to this we hear noises of Cats that are strayed by the owners that came to our surroundings recently. One such pic is this, looks like wild cats right? Hmmm... these two cats quarrel whole night disturbing our sleep.
