Madhuranthakam Ramar Divyadarsanam
It was an enchanting drive of about 76 KM from Chennai to Madhuranthakam on the National Highway #45 with Sudha Sriram and Kundalatha.The roads are amaizing with the seanic hills with rivers around. To the way to Madhuranthakam Ramar Temple. This is the way ahead to Rama Temple in Madhuranthakam, it was a wonderful drive in Wagonar's MPFI engine and smooth Power Steering on the way to Mambakkam.
After we reached Mambakkam at half past 4 we got fresh at the traditional Home of Venkipuram with the hospatility of our Grand Parents Sarojaatha and Baabuatha, went to the temple for the ever waited once in a year utsavam called Yrri Kattha Ramar Vadayithi Vothsavam.
By the time we reached the temple, apparently Thirumanjana was started. then we had to settled down and there was a special treatment for us as I was in Pattu Vaesti Vuthieriam with Thiruman and Sreecharnam. Then Came the haarathi to the lord Ramar for the Idols (Vutsavamoorthies).
It was sweating a lot then and it was too humid. Once the haarthi was over, there was a heavy breeze there was a heavy breeze, I was surprised and looking around if there was a fan behind, but it was natural breeze. Then a heavy rain followed...That was an amaizing experience.
After which the poojari asked me to come in front and Garlanded me with the mala that was on the Lord. This was a wonder in my life... This happens every year with any of our Venkipuram family members who attends the Utsavam.I had decided to go every year from now.
